Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 8 Apr 2006 23:42

* sidles in sheepishly * Hello Ann, sorry but I have to admit defeat!! Someone else wanted Labyrinth so I had to return it to the library - I won't be getting it again to finish off I'm afraid. The thing is that I just didn't CARE how it finished! I think she was trying too hard and it was too far-fetched and too complicated for me. Anyway, it would be boring if we all liked the same thing! :-)) Maz. XX

Hi Dee, I am very worried about Ann and FFTMC! I just KNOW she will hate it!! It is in my top 5 all time and I am just loving reading it again. When I have finished I will get the film again from the library - it is brilliant! Stars Julie Christie, Alan Bates, Terence Stamp and Peter Finch (Oak, Troy and Boldwood respectively). Try and get hold of it if you can! Maz. XX

Hi Maz Alan Bates and Terence Stamp, together, I am sitting here drooling at the thought of it. My Other Half is away for a couple of weeks, think it might be just what I need to cheer me up Dee ;-))

Hi just caught this as on my way out to post box. FFTMC! Well, I am reading it (by the way I enjoyed the film many years ago, or maybe it was a TV production.) I am finding it quite hard to read because it is soooo descripttive that it makes me want to skip bits. But I enjoy the story and I laughed out loud at one bit so, who knows Maz!! We shall see. I am still waiting for the other one from the library. can't think why you gave up on Labrynth Maz, we definitely have different types of minds obviously Ann Glos

I'm pleased to see that somebody else is having trouble concentrating on the description. I must say it's a very good cure for insomnia though! lol The other book hasn't come in at my library yet so I think I'll have a bit of a rummage on the book case for some Harlan Coben or James Patterson! Hi Maz I am with you on Far From The Madding Crowd, I started it last night and am enjoying it so far. BTW we were talking of books that 'go back in time'. Have any of you read Anya Seton's Green Darkness? I read it years ago and am going back to read it again as it has tenuous connections with Ightham Mote, where I work as a volunteer Dee ;-))
