Can the pages that 'slip' down be sorted out please. It is very frustrating to have to keep scrolling down to find the messages at the bottom when the top is blank. All the other problems that people have mentioned as well. (Just so I don't duplicate) Viv

OK, things that could be improved.... 1. Allow web addresses (URLs) to be typed into messages. 2. Allow the first message of a thread to be formatted according to how the person typed the message rather than automatically squash everything into one paragraph. that will do for now.

Thanks, Jim. Most of the matters I would raise have been covered. One other thing - that I suggested a few months ago, when we were being asked for suggestions for improvements to the site - concerns having photos on the site. I suggested the facility for having them, as on the parent site, Friends Reunited. Now one can insert photos, but no one else can see them (as far as I can tell), and this defeats the object! Joy

I feel that the HEADERS on each Board should be in Upper case and made easier to see. The Trying to Find Board should be made the default one as that is the reason for the existence of this site.

1. Be able to add URLs without the pathetic procedure we have to go through at the moment. eg bracket the . in (.)com 2. Whenever I have finished with my tree the systems assumes I have not logged in and asks me to do so if I go elsewhere on the site. 3. Have a menu of the Boards rather than the default of Success, or any other board for that mattre. 4. The Allow view tree is soooooo confusing

Steve, I would like an easier way of editing my tree. I noticed recently that one ggg grandmother is named twice but each time I have tried to remove one of her names I'm told I cannot do so. Thank you for this thread Steve it is much appreciated. Rosemary(Essex)

I'd just like to say that I agree with what everyone has said, I think the site does need to improve so members can find there way around it a lot easier and quicker. Quite often, more than not, this site is extremely slow and it can be very frustrating. Also giving members access to view our trees is very confusing and I feel this needs to change so that when you send someone a message it should automatically not allow people to view our trees. A lot of people don't realise this, and everyone can view your tree. Thanks Steve Nicola

"Page cannot be found", this is coming up to often, when I tried to go to the Add message page same thing, viewing my name's it happened every time I changed screens. PLEASE SOMEONE DO SOMETHING!!!!!! Len P....D OFF

Please make the Genealogy Resources section easier to find. No point in burying the treasure way down the page so you have to scroll down to find it - some people never get that far! Please make it really obvious and stick a link to it above every single message board. I should think that about 40-50% of the queries I answer could be sorted if people read here first, thus freeing up the board for queries which require other help. nell

Spikey So many times I lose a thread and if you do not know the exact name you can't find it would be much simpler to use the author of the thread as a search as I would remember that much easier. Pat x
