No not today Christine. Be back in tommorow. Another thing i remember is that the blocks lit up a very pinky/purple colour and the the host was about 50 with brown hair. I have seen him on TV again since then but just talking about past programmes and that. Any ideas who I mean? |

Christine, I was talking about way back in Black & White TV days (well our house anyway) some schools quiz? I hated Blankety Blank didnt Terry Wogan host that programme at sometime yuk. I did like the Generation Game with Larry Grayson and Isla St. Clare. Golden Shot was done by a block called Norman Vaughan (Roses Grow on you add) and a Mixed Race Yorkshire Man who had an annoying habit of calling everyone flower. God TV was in good in those days, wasnt it! LOL> Pat x |

Thanks Christine, Its always nice when people can remember things that bug you, and that was bugging me as I could see him in front of me. Ah well little to worry about They used to have some good pop singers on the Golden Shot two I remember are Desmond Dekker he sang "You Can get It" and Tammy Lyn "I'm Gonna Run Away" I thought that was cool at the time. Linda got Golden Shot before I did - it was on the previous page - credit where credit's due! lol Top of the Form didn't transfer well to television but loved it on the radio. Ask the Family with Robert Robinson (?)- the winners of the whole series got a television licence I think - wow! |

'I'll name that tune in 1' - I often didn't recognise the tune when they played it all lol And the tune they had to guess when they went into the glass box thing was usually so obscure - nobody had a snowball's chance in hell of guessing it! lol |

What was the TV quiz game hosted by Noel Edmonds? The teams were made up families or friends and had odd nick names. I did used to watch it, but I can't remember the name! Ask me about Take Your Pick or Double Your Money, but anything newer than 1970...........forget it! LOL Had a really stressful day at work and I think my brain has given up completely! LOL Sue |
