I went to the shop to get some ink for my printer, i parked the car, then got drenched walking to the shop, then again coming out.................and after all that they didnt have the ink i needed.....Grrr. I was then so soggy, i couldnt be bothered to go elsawhere.....

Hope you have managed to keep yourselves dry.

Good late evening all! been very busy with school stuff, Leigh's been a bit off colour too.

I think I told you about a long serving colleague who was diagnosed with a brain tumour and lung cancer back in the new year. sadly, he passed away on Monday. All of us in school are absolutely devastated. Jack worked in the school straight from qualifying back in the early 1970s and taught a lot of our parents too. We started the new term under the new school name and several of us have made sure that we get the last hour and a hlaf off on Monday so that we can attend the funeral. Had our old head been around still, I am pretty sure she will have given some thought to closing the school for the day.

I know it's still early days, but this new school which is still operating from the two sites has become very much their way or no way. Having a play area which is grass and no bigger than a tennis court added to which all this blinking rain we have been having has meant that we have had most of the play times INDOORS for the last two days :( Let's hope things improve sooner rather than later.

Good to hear you're getting somewhere with your research Jacky. Hope all are as well as can be. Hopefully get back on here some time over the weekend. Til then take care all.
