Sleep tight all,

Definitely far too much chatting to do any serious research. That said, my Lithuanian ancestors have been giving me grief ever since I discovered I had them. I put a post on a Yahoo Lith Genealogy site and get regular emails. I decided to post again recently becuase apparently a lot of Liths travelled through Scotland and then into England and on to USA etc. A very kind lady has just messaged me to say that she has taken all the details of the elusive family that I posted, she has booked herself some time in Scot Gene place in Glasgow and will do some look-ups for me! How good is that? Fingers crossed something comes of it, if not I am more than grateful for her taking the time to do the research.

Well peeps, off to bed myself now. Getting verrrry sleepy, OH has been snoring for over an hour!

Take care til morning,
Lyn x x x x

(Who's the chatterbox? My posts are usually the longest on this thread - it's not me then definitely not!) hehehehe

Hello All,

I have had 4 sets of kids to the door this evening, i had great fun with them, i had a mask on and screamed when i opened the door, yes, they were ready to run !!!!

I gave them each a small toy, some sweets and some crisps, and each and every child said thankyou - then thier parents who where standing back said thankyou as well, good manners go a far way with me. Oh what it is to be young........

Have a good evening Rog, Lyn and Rose.

Just got on here, late again. What changes hey!?

I'm not a fan of Trick and Treat and actually put a polite not that came from council in my door to ask people not to call. Sorry, just don't like it. anyway, we were going out to see a film, I got two free preview tickets so we were out there anyway. That left youngest duaghter (21) home and she's not a fan of trick and treat either so was pretty glad of the sign as she didn't get interrupted.

Got a dressing up day again on friday. We are having 'Book Week' in school this week and using Fri as MUFTI day for EVERYONE to come dressed as a goody or baddy from a novel. Soooo, I'm going as Nancy from Oliver Twist. Been practicing Oom Pa Pa and talking with a cockney accent. lol

Anyway, sorry I missed you all. Sleep tight and wake up refreshed (if only)!

Speak tomorrow,
Lyn x x x x

Good evening to all

Hey look at me getting on here earlier than usual, I think I beat everyone hands down in the late arrival competition!

Been a nice day here and not too cold.

My school are at it again tomorrow, dressing up that is! We've had our 'Book Week' this week and tomorrow we and the kids ar coming to school dressed as a goody or a baddy from a novel. Soooo, I have decided to go as Nancy from Oliver Twist because I think she was a real goody and 'orrible old Bill Sykes was a nasty nasty man! No charity involved this time, just everyone dressing up for the fun of it! And to add to the fun, we have a panto in the line of Cinderella coming into school in the morning too. Now, I do hate pantos, cant be done with all that '... oh yes he did'; '...oh no he didn't' malarkey :)

Speak later, take care all,
Lyn x x x x

I am not a lover of a theatre panto either, but i love to see a school panto !!
When my kids would'nt come with me when they grew up, i would "borrow" someone elses child and take them.........Lol. If i become a grandmother the grandchildren are going to love me........Lol
