My heartfelt sympathy to Carol and her family. No matter what the circumstances the loss of a child must be terrible to bear. I hope her and her family can get through this terrible time.

On your lighter note Rog, I can't join your new group because I am honestly and truly UNDER the age of 50 by a good couple of years! Oh well, never mind!

Hello !!

Rog i will look at that site in a mo - i'll just pretend i am over 50..............

I got a photo today of my great aunt = born india, the one i told you her dad wouldnt let her marry her true love so she went to be a nun, then just before her 5 yr vocation, she came out and married him......Oh what a stunning family they are, there are 5 children on the photo, it has brought tears to my eyes - my G Grandfather must have hung his head in shame when he saw this family !!!!

Good evening you cynical lot!

I don't quite know how I can prove to you all that I am not over 50. Maybe one thing, you all know that my family celebrated our parents' golden wedding anniversary this year right? Well, I am the second eldest in the family, my eldest sister b1959 followed by me just about sixteen months later. Do the maths as they say! :) lol and a hohoho too!

Jacky what a WOW of success you're having with your Indian roots. Good on you, keep at it and you never know where you will end up and how far you will get. Hoping to get more info re my Lithuanian ancestors, just have to wait for a kind person to get back in touch. Fingers crossed she finds something interesting for me.
