been lucky grandson-in law picked nathan up from school didn't have
to go back in the cold the wind is picking up and its soooo icy .
...................been on malta website and its 16c there with a bit patchy rain

Rog you must be soooo cold, lets hope your heating gets sorted as soon as possible.

When I went to school- for the first time this year :) - the temperature was MINUS EIGHT! Still, I thought school was going to be very cold but our site manager had the heating all sorted and it was relatively warm today. I always have a fleece in school to throw on if it's cold, break duty this afternoon but not too bad, I was all wrapped up in my thick coat scarf and gloves.

Watched the second part of the Lynda La Plante tv drama last night then that programme done by Gazza's family - I felt really sorry for his ex and thought it pretty sad his son feeling the way he did about his dad. Discussion in school today some were saying they felt Cheryl was exploiting the fact that he's in the state he's in to her own benefit and showing his son disrespecting his father. At the end of they day, the programme for me was highlighting how his wife may have left him and divorced him but will always feel responsible for his health. He needs serious help and it's a tragedy seeing his decline. George Best comes to mind but then he may have been an alcoholic but he wasn't mad as Gazza was claiming he'd had calls from the pope, George Clooney to name but a few. Oh well, very interesting.

Right my friends, off to do a few jobs and get ready for a nice hot chocolate before settling down for an earlier night. Take care all til tomorrow.

..................not as cold today here , been raining , so its not cold enough for snow .
.............yes jacky thats when we are hoping to go , all depends on if the house sells or not . hubbie said we could rent it out , but i dont fancy that
........probably knowing me i'll get someone who wrecks it .
................i'm not doing much today , as i feel as that my cold is coming back , my chest feels a bit dodgy ......keeping warm and plenty of hot lemon .

Hello all, very cold here, small snow flurries still, lots of ice about , garden still covered in snow.
Nothing on the heating yet Rose, the gas is still not connected to house, should have been done yesterday, but they had problems on the job they were doing.
still got our electric ones, and the fire in the evenings, so not to bad. Thanks all for thinking of us. We had power cut yesterday from 4am till about 3.30pm, Terribly cold.

Rose, i am getting a cold as well, i coughed all night and now my throat is a little sore.........oh well, its winter and these things happen !!

OH not very happy, got mobile, wallet with £60 - self employed and all he's earned this week :( and someone else's car keys stolen from his car today. Customers car, and its a merc and when he rang his phone, the cheeky $£%(%^ demanded £300 to get the car keys back! Long story police no help at all found out that within ten minutes they had tried several ATMs to get money out, been to M & S and tried to make purchases too so now OH has no phone, all the pics of little Leigha he had taken gone. The girl who answered his phone when he rang it said initially that she bought it off her brother who got it off some smack head. When Ste said the key to the car was important to him but said this phone had pics of his granddaughter in, she replied - ah I know I've seen all your pics, she's beautiful! BLOODY CHEEK.

The guy whose car keys they are has been brilliant, great to have on your side. He rang OHx mob and told the person who answered - you don't know who you're messing with, why do you think i'm driving round in a Merc! You could read that any way you like couldn't you. Anyway, they got my mobile no out of Ste's phone and I've had three phone calls the final one after me telling them we wouldn't be meeting them with money and don't want the keys back reminding them they don't know who they're messing with I was threatened that he knew where I was and he was coming to get me, gonna chase me down and terrorise me! And I'm shaking in my boots! NOT. They have nothing in the wallet or the phone with our address on it and where the stuff was taken is nowhere near where we live. Anyway, police calling back out to see me tomorrow re the harrassment and threatening calls.

Oh happy days!

Other than that . . . hehehe

Off to bed now, hope to get some sleep and not stay awake worrying about my impending visitors!

Lynn, i'm sad at what has happened but i'm bl***y angry too...............this kind of thing makes my blood boil.........and as you say, they dont know your husbands background ???? or what he is "in to", these people are that thick, they could be playing up to the "big man"..............
Lynn, take care and try to back off (i know its hard) but these morons have NO boundries and think the world is THIER "be all" and "end all".

Hello There.........

Been getting stuck in with the windows - hate this job, i also cleaned and vacumed my car - it was filthy with the gritted roads, anyway all nice and clean now.

Going out for lunch with my sisters tomorrow, i look forward to seeing them.

How is the weather were you are?, its not too cold here and the sun is shining.
