Hope you're feeling better Rose. No, I'm not at the celebrations in Liverpool, none of my crew would come with me. Only that my friend has been off work the last two days she would have gone. Problem is getting home from town which put my OH and daughter off. We did it for the champion's league home coming and it was a nightmare. Because of the number of people they closed the cental train station which caused even more chaos. They are also complaining of the bitter cold outside. so I'm disappointed we haven't gone out.

Have we heard anything from Jacky? I didn't notice any posts while I was flicking through.

Pops was transferred to the Stoke Mandeville Hospital A&E this afternoon, they moved him to a ward and are doing tests, but have also said no food or water after midnight, and have said it is most probable he will lose at least one of his lower legs tomorrow, i have got to ring late am to find out what is happening.

Hope you're ok Lady Jacky, we're missing you.

We had bad news in school the other day. One of our longest serving members of staff who was made redundant two years ago but has stayed in touch doing supply for us has had major surgery for a massive brain tumour. He was due to get results as to the grade of the cancer and relevant treatment on Thursday. If it was grade four it was terminal. His wife hasn't rung school to let us know and I only hope this isn't worst case scenario. Please keep him in your thoughts.
