Hello Mel, I wonder if you could find Richard and Jane Milman on the 1851 census? I would just like to see if Janes age matches up to add weight to my theory. |

Iv'e had a look and the only Richard and Jane I can find on the 1851 census is the pair of them born Barnstaple Devon but it has been transcribed as Barnstaple Middx!!!!!! They are in Wales and have a daughter Pellana born 1854 she was also born Barnstaple Devon. He was a Mariner so I suppose he could have died at sea. But I am not sure about this. |
