I can't read the surname for either person! Except that I doubt that either one is what Ancestry says. ;)

It's not so much that the image is bad - I've tried both enhanced and unenhanced - it's more that the handwriting is illegible. I'm usually pretty good at it, but that has me stumped.

I'm thinking this could be the householder:
