I am looking to trace my relatives on my mothers side of the family, I have traced back too great grandfather his name is Thomas Kennedy year of birth 1889 married to Elizabeth Cummings, from manchester, ( salford, bury, or weaste area ) thanks for any information. Elaine marshall. |

Thomas would have been 38 when he married Elizabeth so this may be a 2nd marriage for him. Might be worth buying the cert to find out. |

With George, this would be 9 boys. Doesn't seem to be an elder Thomas. Eldest son fits in with marriage date. |

as you are not sure of if he is Thomas or herbert it would be worth getting the marriage certificate of your granparents to prove his name and occupation |
