hi all .i have a thomas collier born c1861 in newcastle under lyme (staffordshire i think)can someone help to find him and his parents in the census. thanks craig

Which census, if any, have you found him on before you try and jump back to 1861

thinking about it now i suppose the 1871 census would be better.he would still be living with his parents

How have you arrived at his name and possible year of birth and place of birth?

Very few Colliers from Newcastle-under-Lyme, mainly females. Can't find a Thomas in any census.
