Find Ancestors

Hi Anthony,
Thank you for your reply. All I can tell you is that Alexander James Stevenson died 15th April 1900 in Calcutta, it is stated on the cert that he was 62yrs old. I don't know where he was born in Scotland. He had a son and daughter in India namely Alexandra Jane Stevenson born 2nd Jan 1868. I know that her brother's name was also Alexander James Stevenson which could possibly mean that the name Alexander James Stevenson was passed all the way down the line, I don't know. These are all the dates I have Anthony if it is of any help?

Edward Bucklow c1847 born Derby, occupation Inland Revenue Officer and wife Jane 1868 born Brecon, Wales, children Edward 1889, Charles 1891, Alfred 1893, Frank 1899, Harold 1901, Ernest 1903.

I'd love to know the parents of my ancestor, Robert McKenzie born Knockally Caithness, Scotland, who maried Janet Henderson, born Guidabest, Latheron. I can find their marriage at Latheron on July 5th 1821 and their children, Jane b1825, my Alexander 1827, Agnes 1833 and Elizabeth 1835...can't find any other children between the marriage date `1821 and 1825 . The date of the marriage and children would date Robert and Janet around 1800....are there any records for this time in Scoland? I can find the family living at Rian in 1851, but very little else.
