Bridie....I realise you are looking for descendants of Michael and Jane but Michael should show on the 1871 Census as he states he knew Peter McEvoy for some 17/18 years...most of the Irish influx into the area was from the very late 60's onwards...might be worthwhile checking out ... |

Eringobragh 1916 Michael Carroll was a widower when he married Jane Ann ,he is on the 1871 census married to a woman called Margaret,i think it will be the same Michael.thanks again all my helpers. |

1881 census names correspond with names in my family,Michael from County Louth in Ireland not county Cork,now have marriage for Jane Ostle Carroll,and address,census result ,marriage for George Stratton Carroll,family rumour is he had a son Cyril now confirmed,census 1901 correspond with family names,Christina's birth and marriage ,1911 free census for Carroll, not sure if my family,other 1911 census i think is my family,1911 for Cartner i think will be mine census,and marriage details,1911 census for Kelly not sure,marriage for Gertrude Evelyn will be as i know someone was married to a guy called Marshall,marriage for John Thomas coul be,i believe someone called Ellis in thefamily died in an accident.yes could be his children,Cartner births and marriages could be my family,mother-in-law was Christina Stratten married to George .once more cheers everyone. |
