Hi Folks

I have been trying to find the marriage of the George and his wife Jane Grant over
a long time now and have come to the conclusion that the couple did not marry.

I now have the Birth Cert for Agnes H Grant giving me her mothers name as
Jane Grant formerly Panell.

I have searched for her birth and marriage to no avail, but, found this on the 1881 census

So the 'P' in Jane's name is possibly her maiden name.....................

I see that you followed my advice about how to delete.........and have now deleted the other thread about his topic.

No doubt a lot of the work done has been duplicated...................

Jane Purnell married James Pannell. I originally posted Jane Purnell's baptism as I thought it might have been a variant spelling of Panell, but maybe it wasn't after all, and Pannell was her married name.
