Trouble is Ada Rebecca's parents were George & Emma, Bowling Green St. and George is a porter.

Ettie Ellen's parents were George & Sarah, 32 Hosier Lane and George is a waiter.

Yes, I'm wondering what evidence the poster has that the girls were sisters ?

Not seeing Etty Remington in 1861
and George and daughter Ada went to Australia but Etty married and died in England.

It is a little odd that on this marriage George's occupation is the same as on Etty's baptism?

Also, on the original image of the 1851 that Andy posted above i think the occupation could be "waiter", not "nailer".

I agree, MC, that the occupation on the 51 census is waiter not nailer. The enumerator did not cross his t's and the first letter is the same as the W on Isle of Wight.

Can anyone find Etty on census before her marriage?

I can't find her, MC. I've tried Etty, Ettie, Elly, Ellen etc. Tried no first name Remington. No luck!

Me neither Margee. Was wondering if she could have been away and came back into the country?

Ada Rebecca was my G.Granmother that I have been researching.
I believe she came to Australia with the Malkin families after her mother died.
Her mother was a Malkin.
Etty is from George's 2nd marriage.
I was unable to find her.
