Thanks guys -yes Winifred was the name of Henry's wife - they married in India (He was in the army) - This is why i was fiddling around trying to findl out if there were other family in Portsea at theat time. Can't work out why he would have been there really! He was back in Crediton by 1881 with his new 'wife' (Not married till later that year). His children from the Winifred marriage were back in Crediton too. |
