i am trying to find a marriage of a thomas wall 1842 to a mary ann collins . they were in liverpool street aston in 1868 as i have a copy of their daughter sarah birth certificate. thoas was born in tethanell staffordshire . mary in birmingham staffordshire which is on 1871 census in birmingham.
we have always though sarah mom as mary ann mansell so not sure wether ive got right birth certificate . thanks

Kath, can I just ask about Sarah? It's vital you pin down the right one, so it might be an idea to go back a bit.
Do you have her marriage cert? If so, please give all details - husband, father, witnesses, any addresses or occupations.

sarah married albert phillips 1893 at st john the baptist deritend. they lived in allcock strreet in 1901 census and sarah died the end of that year .. she had two children celia and albert, her dad was named as thomas. her birth date is 1874 however. her dad thomas lived in the street with other daughter mary jane 1870 . .on a previous census sarah was with thomas , mary and mary jane and grace 1870.i but sarahis down as 1868 born. however i havegot sarah death certifcateand it wasdecleared by grace as albert was away in duke of cornwall which is also on death certificate . thoas is hinge fitter and born in tethanell staffs

Well they were married by 1871. Looks like they married in the 1860's going on the eldest child birth year

Trees on Ancestry say that Thomas was married to Mary Ann Mansill but I think a couple of the trees are yours and others have copied or vice versa.

This is the marriage they have on Ancestry trees??

In actual fact Thomas Wall 1820 married Caroline Howell and George Barrington 1841 married Mary Ann Mansell 1839 dad John Mansell.

Yeah this is the thing we thought it was Mary Ann mansell but this birth cert says Mary Ann collins but I can not find Mary Ann Collins anywhere or marriage. Ibdo know Thomas mom was Sarah Collins would that be significant?

2/2/1863 they had a daughter Agnes Mary Austin 1863

William Austin in 1881 is with wife Eliza.

Could this be the Mary Ann Austin reffered to in the 1865 marriage to maybe Thomas Wall,when you look on original on Ancestry neither Thomas Wall or Mary Ann Austin show up so there must be a mistake somewhere.

Yeah marriage of grace is right and Thomas sister grace is right . Ive ordered grace 1870 certificate see what it says
