We don't collect coins but we do have an Elizabeth I silver coin dated 1588
plus the odd assortment of old halfpennies, pennies, thruppences etc.

Chill out, go for a walk, have egg and chips for lunch, anything that's not Christmasy.

Do you still put out presents for the family in sacks, so they can open then when they get up ?
( at what ever time that maybe) ...I wake mine up at 9 at the latest !
They're 22 and 20 now so not quite so excitable !

Us Four,( and whoever happens to be staying over for Xmas, nobody this year) get up around 8.30 and watch each other one by one open their presents from under the tree, My two 21 and 18 havents had a stocking for the past three years.

My maternal aunt 88, will be 89 in Feb. My dad died 4yrs ago 2 weeks short of his 91st birthday,an aunt and an uncle died this yr both aged 94.

Do you watch any of the TV soaps ?

If Queenie goes soon then possibly he might. I think it depends on how old William is when Queenie pops off - Charles might decide to take over for a while so that William can have a reasonably normal married life (if he is by then) for a while before he has to take on the pressure of being King.

I don't particularly dislike any of them really - they're just there and mostly harmless, except for Prince Philip on the odd occasion!!

I don't use food for comfort, I am more likely not to eat if unhappy or distressed and need comfort.
