or elsewhere. For me it is the coefficient of linear expansion of iron. Pounded in my brain in 1944 where it has lain dormant and remembered, whereas the content of my breakfast this morning........
You probably have similar memories which have remained out of use for a long time.

Cosigns and tangents......logarithms........anything to do with maths really . Basic maths is useful but personally I've never needed all the other stuff the subject attempted to cram into my head.

My standard answer to any maths question these days is twelve-tee.........lol

The most useless thing I learned in school-age 11 was that I'd 'overpinned 'my cookery apron in needlework class!!!!
Pins must have been expensive in 1961!

My maths teacher had the most appalling breath...even if any of us kids wanted or needed help we didn't dare put our hands up , as he would get close and breath directly on you.........poor man.

No mention of any one of the myriad of Shakespeare plays a lot of us were forced to take. Historical dates; type of thing.

I learned how to drink alcohol surrepticiously in class.

My mate used to go home to dinner. We would divvy up in the morning and,on her way home from dinner, she would pop in the off licence. They would always ask if it was for her mum who they must have thought was a raving alcoholic as she was getting through several bottles of cider a day.

I also learned how to be expelled!

Latin Mythology - which has only been useful for crosswords!! I asked the teacher one day what good would Latin Mythology be to me when I left school -she went ballistic and asked me what did I keep in that curly head of mine!!!!
