SpanishEyes Report 22 Jan 2010 06:37

Apologies to everyone who has sent me their writings and I haven't replied to. The talent in this group is really amazing.

My difficulty at the moment is two fold...work load is increasing by the day and there is so much written work to do ready for an audit next Tuesday, and my main help is now off sick for then days. OH does not want me to work at home, so pressure is on.
Also had an amazing contact re my husbands side of my tree. A long lost aunt of my OH was very difficult to trace as the family virtually disowned her for her wilful ways!!! Two of her sisters adopted her children when she died. Well on Saturday a relative of those children contacted me wit h an amazing amount of knowledge all verified BUT he also does not wish me to disclose it to anyone. A strange co-incidence is that my twin sons lived about one mile away from him when they were at University in Wales. How spooky is that.
Maybe when I have finished writing my story I will write about this find.

To everyone who has sent me poems. stories etc THANK YOU and I have read them and will comment after Tuesday of next week.

Have to get redy for work now

No pressure Bridget, concentrate on work first and harmony in the home!! We can wait. Good luck with the audit, I know how nerve wracking they can be.

Ihate killing my darlings, I know what you mean BC, but sometimes you have to. If they are not essential to the story.

Stephen King said, final draft is first draft minus ten per cent. Damn right lol

I've had a lull in sending stuff out, but I'm working on some...

You can only kill her off when she's had some fun out of life lol...she has to have a lover and find her father and her siblings and become what she has never been allowed to be ! ( I am taking her to heart you see lol )

and she has to have a new wardrobe as well lol
