I didn't want to put Mau off so just sent her Chapter 1....lolol....

BC there's no chance of putting Mau off with Miriam....lol She'll love it, like we all do.

When I click on entourage and see I have 8 or whatever messages coming in ,I think OMG its you lot lol.
BC Mau needs all 3 of yours I think .I saved them up and read them all together.

Thanks to Maggie and BC for pieces sent, have been out all day painting ceilings so sorry if I have missed saying thankyou to anyone :)) will catch up when the painting's done .

I have held back from writing any more as I think people were getting overwhelmed.

*struggles from Email box pencil behind ear..........eeh! there's a lotta mail in there like..pmsl .....have read poems from Stella and Maggie,also first part of Ann's (sounds a lot like my teenage years Ann ;O)..) and have followed Miriam's story BC.....you're All very good I must say

Phew!! I've spent two hours this afternoon on just one poem,but not typed it up yet. However I have finished my first story.....ahem I hope you're all going to be gentle with me as I've never been on a writing course or anything.

Can I ask how many words we have to write? as my contribution looks smaller than any of yours...

The first one we did (I haven't sent you that one yet) was supposed to be around 500 words Mau, but since then we have been 'free writing', that is we have just been writing bit s and winging them off as we have not had any more instruction from our 'leader'. So it doesn't matter how long it is, or how good it is. Most of us are untutored. Are you happy to receive constructive criticism? We are very gentle with each other!!!

See, Stella says in few words what I ramble on about, which explains why she writes exquisite poetry and I write long rambling prose bits.

i say it in less words because i am a poet.. and as such don't use many words....i could never write a story ..

we usually send them within the body of an email Mau, after trial and error that seems to be the best way

I promise I have only written one piece - I thought that was the original decision - but I am swamped with lots of lovely stuff I am struggling to reply to.

I do think perhaps we should limit what's sent so that we all get a chance to reply to others? I have a job, a garden, three dogs, 2 cats, 28 hens and three children so my GR time is more limited than that of some of you!

I would appreciate comments from others.
