That's so true, Ann. Hope I don't cry when someone critisises my work....lolol...BC XX

AnninGlos Report 19 Feb 2010 21:28

Well I haven't seen anything to criticize so far so you should be OK.

Evening Ladies.

I will catch up on comments this weekend, but I'm going to have to stand back a while and start catching up on my non-fiction coursework. I've avoided it for long enough, and I need to get through the next five assignments so I can get on to what I really want to do.

Do keep sending your stuff, I'll comment when I can, if only briefly, but I won't be sending much if any for a couple of weeks...just until I get caught up a bit...

Keep it all going, let's not lose the momentum...we've all come a long way already.

AnninGlos Report 20 Feb 2010 22:27

No problem Teresa, your course work must come first. I will send mine tomorrow. Will you still be able to find time to send us seeds?

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 20 Feb 2010 22:42

Yes I will Ann, and if anyone else has suggestions for set pieces, let me know....

Well done all those who sent work out this week, some really good writing...we're all getting better.

Here's this week's excercise...

What would you like to lose? Describe it and write about why you want to lose it.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 21 Feb 2010 13:11

Mauatthecoast Report 21 Feb 2010 13:45

* and thinks who has the best 'fool proof' system.........it's.not the losing but keeping it away's the problem!! ;O)..........thinks really hard ..............

remembers Ann's advice 'it's fun' lolol

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 21 Feb 2010 14:30

Remembers own advice 'it's fun' Hmm, not when you read Rose's offering Lol!!!!

Rambling

Rambling Report 21 Feb 2010 14:36

lol Ann, I am going to send out something with a happy ending just for a change ;)

PS I am not this miserable in real life...well not always lol

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 21 Feb 2010 14:55

I have worked out why this is hard. we can't use our imaginations can we? It is factual, much more difficult to 'pin down'.

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 21 Feb 2010 15:19

Ann, it can be fiction too you know....let your imagination run riot.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 21 Feb 2010 15:33

Really? The title didn't suggest fiction. Will have to think around that one.

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 21 Feb 2010 15:44

Well it's really quite open...make of it what you like. It could be weight, an annoying neighbour, an ugly vase you were given, a spot on your chin...anything really.

The point of the exercise is the practise description, and most of all, writing. You can make it any style you like, humerous, prosaic, poetic or even a la R Rose...(sorry Rose LOL)

Rambling

Rambling Report 21 Feb 2010 15:48

LOL a la R Rose indeed ;) anyway I have written something now lol... but it is only a short 'pome' so will probably try and add a bit to the murder ...or send something I wrote for college...which is a bit more cheerful :))

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 21 Feb 2010 16:02

I've actually written something too....supposed to be doing other things LOL.

I'll tidy it up and send it out next week....quite please with myself!
