Morning Laydeeez

Had a lovely time at the meet, now is the time I start catching up with the group.

I haven't sent anything out for a couple of weeks, been concentrating on course-work, but I will start commenting again as of today.

Had a lovely time at the meet yesterday, and it was lovely to meet some of you.

I'll post this week's task in a little while. I'd better get dressed first though LOL

Not got anything to send out this week, having sent a fairly long one on Thursday. Lost the momentum a bit I think.

*coughs and blushes*

So sorry ladies. I got carried away with other things and clean forgot. lol

Ok, well as we have had such a beautiful weekend, I think your short set piece this week should have a theme.

SPRING.

What does it mean to you? What do you like best about it?

Here's your chance to take us to wherever you are by using some good descriptive prose. Remember to use all of your senses, and build us a picture.

Can I just say, just for this week, that as I know nothing about poetry, but have read them all, I really do enjoy them all. There are some talented poets about, but really I can't say any more than the 'I enjoyed that' comment.

So, although it's a cop-out, I'm going to say here, to all of you who sent poetry, I loved them all.

Stella, your ears should have been burning on Saturday, we were all talking about you and your poetry and how talented you are. It was all good, promise.

Teresa

you have me blushing now, you see i admire the prose writers, we all seem to have our own personalties in our writing, mine and Maggie's are in poetry

thank you for the lovely compliment

I am the same Teresa, I know nothing about poetry and it is difficult to think of something to say except...they are so beautiful, one and all.

And thank you all, for your kind comments.

Now 'Spring' eh? *ponders how to fit a murder or two into a story....lolol...

Thanks Teresa for the 'Spring' theme, my favourite time of year. To dust off the cobwebs of winter.

Although I am quite looking forward to BC's "Murder in Spring" lol

Glad you all enjoyed the meet !

I don't think we have a new one, Daff, you can pick a theme if you like? Or shall we wait for our Leader? XXX
