sorry, bumping this up with sad news as lost a cousin today. It has been frantic all week as he he was losing his fight against cancer, but at peace now.
Nothing from me this week, away in Scotland next 2 weeks, depending on funeral, but please send all your work. I will read all and comment on my return.

I would appreciate an update from someone who knows the people we are sending to, as I only receive 3 replies at the most each week.
I don't mind sending if at least an acknowledgment is sent. My poetry doesn't come easy !!

Aw, Maggie, I am so sorry to hear of your cousin.... and I haven't sent any feedback for ages.... I will tomorrow, I promise. I love it all, anyway... you all have such different styles, and I really really enjoy them all so much.

Love

Thanks Daff and BC, appreciate your response. Sorry , just feeling maudlin (A Yorkshire saying I believe)

I guess when you get to my age these things happen

There must be a poem out of this sorrow somewhere, will post it when I write it. Writing is such a release.

Take care

Maggie, I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. Please continue to send your lovely poetry, I know it is disheartening when you don't get many replies, I can't rep[ly this week, until I get home tomorrow as I can't access my e mails on OH's PC as I can't remember my password to get into it. On my pc it goes in automatically. I have to admit that I have stopped sending to people I know for certain are not going to comment. I have not sent anything since last Sunday as I have not had much access to this PC and don't have the e mail addys to send to either. Back to normal this weekend I hope.

I'm sorry to read about your cousin Maggie, hard for all concerned, I hope the peace of Scotland will give some comfort. I love your poems :) and also appreciate the time and care taken in finding the lovely pictures to go with them... a book in the making!

Sorry to all that I haven't replied or done much this week, streaming eyes. But hopefully will get back to it next week ,

We haven't had an idea for a piece this week I don't think. Looking on line I have come up with a selection. If you want to, take your pick.

"What if?"
"Staring at my reflection."
"Everyone else was laughing."

Or if you want a title
An embarrassing Experience.

Please could people who receive contributions acknowledge receipt even if they don't feel able to comment.

Evening all and sorry if I have not replied to all. Was feeling a bit off colour. And thank you Ann for suggestions for our next set piece. I may go on with the Convent though, will have a think. Yes, I would just like an acknowledgment, also, don't always need a comment:))

You are normally very prompt to reply BC so I knew it was because you were under the weather. I look forward to the next convent episode.

Hi Ann and everyone, as you know I am away soon, but will take your suggestions away with me Ann, and thanks for them. I am sure the ambience of Scotland will get my little grey cells working. Sorry nothing from me this week or next, but will catch up, and look forward to my email being full of stories/poems to read on my return.
