+++DetEcTive+++ Report 22 Jun 2015 12:35

Thanks for this - apart from Mark Gatiss, we've heard of the others!

I wonder if it will be showing them researching, or just focussing on a relatively recent event/ancestor?

Tabitha Report 1 Jul 2015 13:27

Good list this time - hope they do a bit more historical research not just focus on one person & what they did for the whole hour
The US one is good this time round very historical

'Emma' Report 28 Jul 2015 13:36

Tabitha Report 29 Jul 2015 14:33

I think it’s on the following week - week of 10th August

The series i just saw which is obviously an old USA one was amazing - gave enough information & followed 2 o 3 people & actually went back to at least 4 x great grandparents - I hope this one is as good & not rubbish like the last one that seemed to stay on one person who was born in the 1900's or late 1800 ‘s - there were a couple of good ones but on the whole the 2014 Uk series was very disappointing.& easy to fall asleep watching or give up altogether. i know it was interesting for the Celeb but not for us watching them.

Watched a few of the old Uk ones repeated, they were quite interesting - the odd one was a bit weird but on the whole you did actually learn something or they held your attention

'Emma' Report 29 Jul 2015 14:39

Tabitha the ones I am watching at the moment
are repeated on ch109 at 5pm.
If at home at lunch time 12o'clock on Watch channel.

Great British Bake off presenter Paul Hollywood, modelling legend Jerry Hall, Last Tango In Halifax stars Sir Derek Jacobi and Anne Reid, actress Jane Seymour, choirmaster and broadcaster Gareth Malone, stage and television actress Frances de la Tour, news reporter Frank Gardner, actor and writer Mark Gatiss and television presenter Anita Rani all join this year’s series.

Thank you Tabitha for that.

Am looking forward to it and hope this series will be better.

For me I have not seen any on Watch, and today's was the start
of new series on Watch, which I have not seen before.

MotownGal Report 10 Aug 2015 20:10

I am really looking forward to the new series, although I have one reservation.........

they make it look so easy!

They decide to go to some office and the stuff is laid out for them. Certificates are produced in a day, and someone is always there to help them.

As we all know...............it aint that easy!

I would have preferred not to give that cheating bake-off guy any more air-time.

There are so many lovely people in the world who would be more deserving.
