I use morrisons bags in tescos or sainsburys, anywherd I need to, same as tescos in sainsburys and vice versa, depends which ones I grab when I am packing my shop.

You used to get points regardless of the origin of the bag

Many moons ago when we originally paid for carrier bags, my lovely mom, who sadly is no longer with us would happily hand over the appropriate charge and promptly turn the bag inside out. I remember her telling puzzled looking cashiers " I don't mind paying for a bag but I'm not paying to advertise for you"

Makes me smile every time I think of it. :-D

Towards the beginning of this thread, AnnCardiff mentioned that the number of Sainsbury’s plastic bags decorating near by trees had virtually disappeared.

Paying special attention to the trees surrounding our Sainsbury’s car park today, I couldn’t spot even one. Either the SEN trolley collector has extended his pride in ‘his’ car park to the perimeter or offending bags are being dropped in the surrounding roads.
