Bank Clerk & Personnel Administrator with high street bank - 20 years ______________ Part timer at Tesco - 6 months ______________ Fines & Payments Processor with Magistrates - 2 years Party Plan Cosmetics - evenings - 18 months Part time home shopper at Tesco - weekends - 12 months ________________ Branch Administrator (accounts & stock control) Builders Merchant - nearly 4 years to date _______________

June - the first 6 months at Tesco was while I decided what I wanted to do after taking redundancy from the bank. The next 3 jobs that I have grouped - I did all at the same time god help me ............ a 40 hour week - evenings and 6 hours at the weekend doing early mornings. :O)))

Very varied jobs well done June ..

Unfortunately June, I was on the dole for a considerable amount of time, it seems that there was no call any more for people in my profession.

Hazel are u like me now retired how did we ever find time to go to work ? June ..

Hi , i started out as a shop assistant at 14yrs got the sack from that job after 1 yr, as i was off sick when i went back my job had been filled by someone else , i was devastated. then i went to work in a hospital where i stayed until i got married. then worked in a food shop for a while , left to have family didnt go back to work until about 1978 worked in aviation. then worked in computers . then retired . hazelx

Thanks for your sympathy June, I was a bit impoverished through being out of work, but then there's not much call fro gas mantle packers these days. Jeff

Hi June , i dont know how we done it but we did . i used to juggle 3 children ,a job ,and house work ,and shopping . i;m retired now or surposed to be ? it's now ,mum can you take the boys to school and pick them up after school . mum can you baby sit . mum can you go to the shops for me i dont have time . I dont really mind it keeps me going lol hazelx

My occupation was/is a sugarcrafter, making and decorating Wedding, Birthday & Novelty cakes and handmade truffles etc. I am now at home with the children and nowhere by me has that line of work, so don't know what to do when I'm ready to go back to work. Stella X

I used to be a nurse but now I am a Specialist Behaviour Assistant working with children that are permanently excluded from school which can be very hard. Gail
