Weather quite reasonable here for the time of year, hope yours improves Rog, we don't do wind, rain or any kind of wintery weather do we?!

Glad you had a lovely time Jacky shopping and at your party and hopefully you're enjoying the peace and quiet Rose.

Stayed in last night, watched the end of Ant and Dec which was very good and then watched a movie which had all the twists and turns any movie could have, very good if you can ignore the swearing in it.

Doing research on OHs tree and had some very interesting leads and help from two other people one via GR and the other via Ancestry. Going to update my tree now, plenty to keep me busy I can tell you.

Another excellent excuse to party again hey Jacky! Good for you all and shame on the hall for not allowing the champers to be drunk there. My theory that every negative thing has a positive alter ego is true - no champers brought in to dirnk at a venue = another party night. Happy days!

Well, Suzanne definitely deserved to win tonight, she and her partner were absolutely outstanding. I love Bolero too, such an emotional routine. what were they on about sayin Chris was basically too serious. Goodness sake, I was shouting at the tv that it's a serious theme, a tragic love story. Sheeesh! Chris did extremely well but I think Suzanne definitely had the edge tonight.

Afternoon all

Doesn't the sunshine make you feel better?! Been out with OH sorting out rubbish for the tip, well to be honest I just went along to keep him company because there was a lot of heavy lifting that only he could manage. He's a strong solid chap and even he found things quite heavy.

Back up here doing research on his side of the family for him. Having great fun too, I have two people who I've been in contact with who are turning out to be helpful. Well, we are all helping each other. Always good to have another pair of eyes researching the same family tree. Still hoping someone will get in touch with me over my Lithuanian branch and give me a hand with that one. Not holding my breath though.

Glad you had a good day Rog, hailstones Rose? What's this easter week weather coming to? I remember one year when both the girls were still in school we had rain, hail, snow, sun wind etc all in one week. Sure I've already told you this before but you know what my memory is like! Watching out too for our laburnum tree, it's started getting buds already and usually by daughter's birthday the flowers are all out. Then about six weeks later - depending on how cruel the weather has been all the flowers have fallen away and we're back to a balsy tree again for the rest of the year. Have taken some great pics of it when it has been in bloom just to remind us that it does get flowers and look all pretty!

Right, last call for me tonight, carrying on with some more research then off to bed for me.
