Hello all, very windy today, still no work , have been to youngest but ones birthday party, grandchild that is, she was seven on wednesday. had a good rest anyway.

Been windy here also but not too bad, brought daughter down and had a BBQ, she is quite badly bruised but fine........she was laughing at the cat begging of me - it sure was good to see her laugh !!!

That's my new name because our granddaughter finally arrived today. Daughter was staying at bf last night (Fri) and we got a call at 2:55 am to say that they thought baby was on her way. Eventually little one was born at 2:21 this afternoon (Sat) wieghing in at 7lb 2oz. Mum and baby are both doing well. Such an amazing experience being there for the birth of your grandchild right from start to finish and what a beauty our little one is too.

Will chat more tomorrow after I've cuaght up on a bit of sleep. Can't wait to see them both again, didn't want to come home from the hospital, just wanted to stay there with them. So so proud of my daughter who coped so well what a star.

Had a relaxing day today, i feel a bit calmer in myself, i know people in accidents have flashbacks, but every time i closed my eyes i could see my daughter, her nose so sore and shes crying.........
