Yes we went there lynn but only a few shops because we were both loaded down................
we may both go again next week - but go straight there this time.......Lol

I'v had a nice day, we went to Birkenhead on the ferry and walked along to New Brighton.......i got quite a nice tan into the bargain.........Lol. Just got home so i now need a nice shower.

..been a lovely day ......been in the garden most of the day , it was lovely and relaxing ,
wouldnt it be great if this lasts all summer.

I dont mind the car racing, when my son was young, we used to take him to Silverstone, and always had a great time, my son was brokenheated when Ayton Senna died - a man who took up the challenge and died doing what he loved - God bless him !!

Well, i am going to cool down outside and wait for the bats to come....Lol

Hello all my friends. hope you are well.
Sorry i have not been on for a while, but bad news from the nursing home, my dad was taken very poorly on saturday and we went to see him, had bad chest infection, and breathing was hard, anyway he seemed to improve after a while so we left and got home after eleven pm.
this morning at a quarter to seven we got a phone call from the home and they told me that dad had just passed away.
it was very sad but they said he died in his sleep so no real pain or upset caused to him.
I have been sorting things today and looks like i will be busy for a few days yet, but will come on when i can.
All the best for now, and hope to catch you in a while

So sorry to hear about your Pops passing Rog. A peaceful drift off to sleep is such a gentle way to go safe in the knowledge that he didn't suffer. Thinking of you and your family and sending my best wishes to you.

Ahh Rog, so sorry to hear about Pops, my sincere condolances to you and your family.
Glad he did'nt suffer when his calling came, he just slipped onto that great plain where he can now rest in peace.
