Thankyou for all your thoughts and prayers, Dad didnt get to theatre at midnight because of an emergency, he went down at 10am this morning, so i have to ring after 2pm, I will let you know results later.

I think that kind of food in the winter is really good and wholesome too, i am having meatballs, mash, peas, carrots and onion gravy.......

My father died before i was born.....

My children call me MAR and thier dad PAR......... well we are thier King and Queen...........Lol

Hello all, been to visit Pops, he has had the operation, and is back in the ward, cheerful, hungry and sitting up doing hes word search magazine, In the end the doctors only removed the front part of his right foot, and said they were pleased and everything went well.

Can you save me some trifle, its my favorite.

My children called thier Gmother "Nanny" and thier Gfather - my stepdad - Gan Gan, my children were young when the Gparents died.........

Glad all went well for your Pops Rog, good to hear he is back on the ward and cheerful too.

Well I call my parents Mum and Dad and my girls call me the same. They call my parents Grandad and Nan or Nanna and OH parents Nan and Grandad. I definitely want to be Nanna and I think Steve is going to be Grandad too.

Bad news today, my colleague was told that the brain tumour was secondary and they were starting radio soon. Today we've heard that the primary tumour is in his lungs and is inoperable. I am so sad, such a lovely man and he has been associated to our school for many years. He actually taught some of our parents and even some of the VERY young grandparents too. Please keep him in your thoughts and his family too.
