Lots and lots going on here today my friends everyone keeping really busy and it's not too late for me to be getting on!

Got another busy week this week but I get to be out of school on two courses on Tues afternoon and all day Friday - yippeeeeee!

Got more bad news today, my Uncle (my dad's sister's husband) has been taken ill in hospital cutting a long story short he has now been diagnosed with lung cancer and to make matters worse has contracted MRSA. Going in to see him with my Dad through the week. We always have a bit of banter my uncle and me goes back years but I care a lot about him and love the bones of my Aunty. I hope and pray he improves. I hope these things don't come in threes because I don't think I could stand to hear of anyone else.

Sorry I'm moaning, just need to share with you. Speak tomorrow.

Wow! It's really windy over in this neck of the woods, we've had rain and sometimes heavy too but as is typical in Liverpool, we seem to be sheltered (must be those Pennines) from the worst of the weather. Quite a strong breeze blowing in from the coast though. Still, we managed to get the kids out to play this morning even if it did mean having our hoods up because it started to spit towards the end of play.

Uncle isn't too good, news today is that lung is primary cancer and there are secondaries all over the place. Results back on Wednesday and the hospital have called for my Aunty and their two daughters to be there on the day for the results. It's not looking good sadly. I am keeping everything crossed that there may be a positive outcome and sending a lot of prayers too. Added too that MiL taken into hospital and admitted today with sickness bug, she's 83 in May and becuase of the vomitting hasn't been able to keep anything down including her meds for blood pressure etc. I hope to goodness that she's ok. Too much bad news in one go.

Seen Pops today, no real change, hes been sitting in chair by bed for a couple of hours, still reckons he is not being told anything, but i know he just likes to moan about everything, hope im different when i reach his age

I agree with you Rose, i feel they are actually mad/frustrated with themselves, it must be so hard thinking how they have lived in thier younger years and how they are now.....my heart goes out to them.

I totally agree with you both, it just seems that pops is not really happy unless he is upsetting some one else, he has always been like it even when i was a toddler, the only time he doesnt do it is when he is ill.
never mind, we all got troubles of one sort or another.
