Good news about your Pops Rog. Slow steady progress is what it's all about.

No further new re my uncle today or my father-in-law. It's been one of those weeks this week for me as you all know. Hoping to chill over the weekend now and go visit some people. Saying prayers that thos who ail have the strength to bear what lies ahead for them.

Afternoon all

Very cold me thinks. Had a good day yesterday on a 'Heartstart' course. My friend and I are now trained to teach our school children and staff in the use of CPR etc. The course was funded by the British Heart Foundation and they send all the necessary course materials to school including five manekins which cost around £125 each! To get these manekins and all the other material necessary to train the kids, we need to set out a learning plant, submit it and then they send out the relevant resources along with certificates for every child that completes the course. It is soooo exciting. They reckon kids as young as 9 or 10 can do CPR!

Uncle coming home from hospital on Monday and being sent for radio to relieve the pain he's in. Spoke to my Aunty today and she is feeling a little better which is a relief. I get so emotional when I hear anybody upset especially when you're on the other end of the phone line. Let's hope this helps him on his journey because I know the road is going to be a bumpy one.

Hope your Pops is keeping well Rog and coping with his situation.

cold and windy still here.
Glad to hear a little progress with your uncle Lyn, i think that when someone is allowed home from hospital it gives everyone a bit of hope and relieves the tension a bit, lets hope he gets a little comfort from the radio therapy, send my regards and wishes for a speedy recovery.
