I have been having another look around the NA site at the naturalisation records..........gosh - this site baffles me, will have another go tomorrow!!

I have been told again by my uncle to leave this research buisness alone - "i may get hurt", why does he keep saying this......well if this is what is coming to me, i wish i could get it over with........Lol
I know he worries but why say - you "may" get hurt, whatever it is they are trying to shield me from, only makes me "dig" even further !!!!!

Congrats to you Sneaky Rog! Well done on the newest 100.

Well, I went in to see my FiL with OH this evening and he's doing fine, had a prob with diabetes related swelling in leg amongst other things so they have restricted fluid intake to 1 litre - for the WHOLE day! That would finish me off I'm sure!

Because there are staggered visiting times between the different wards, I spoke to my Aunty before we left to go to the hospital and clarified with her that my Uncle is in the same one. The visiting ended at 7:00 for FiL so we hot footed it across to the other side of the hospital and got into see my Uncle - the visiting finished at 8:00 for him. Oh I was so thrilled to see him. My Aunty was there with their daughter and her husband who we last saw at my Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary in June. He isn't well and you can tell that, he doesn't have his usual wit about him, he had been waiting for his pain relief meds for over an hour and they arrived while we were there but he now has a very sore throat. They are talking about him coming home on Thursday but also sending him to the nearest centre of excellency for oncology on the other side of the Mersey which I can vouch for as a very good hospital. That is purely to relieve the pain he is in. Let's hope it does some good for him. So glad I was able to get to see him. :)

Off to see the new head for our new school tomorrow - an informal meeting we all feel best to go and show our faces and let him get to see us and know who we are.

Well, I know you're all probably already in bed and I am going to finish off checking out my emails and then I'm off there myself too.

Hello all, its been another lovely day, although a bit cold.
Been to see Pops again, he is now being moved to another ward, next floor up they call it a rehab ward, and willtry to get him walking.
tried it yesterday and he ended up falling, said his legs couldnt take his weight.
i expect they will soon sort him out.

Jacky, I'm sure you have heard of Clatterbridge, it is a fine hospital for sure and I know if there is anything that can be done for him, it will be done in there.

Rog, hoping for you that things get going for your Pops, with all the expert help around him I'm sure he will soon be mobile again.
