Barbra, a nice Sauvignon Blanc would do although it is not sparkling. Just buy a bottle and keep it outside where it will stay nicely chilled :0))

Hi Guys and dolls~~

Don't post very often but always look in:))

Talking about cricket on this thread may be unethical , but watching it is like watching paint dry!..lol

Been trying to think of Barbra's 'slip sliding away' and who sung it..it was Paul Simon / Simon and Garfunkel.

Try to find something more interesting to say next post :)

Hi Sandy, nice to see you on here :0))

Barbra, I won't be going to Perth to see the Test. If it was a one day match I might but not for five days.

My daughter is going to Perth today to see Bon Jovi playing live. She and her partner will be staying for a couple of nights at a very hotel in the suburb of Scarborough. Not as nice as the original in Yorkshire, however!

Barbra, it could be that either they or you could have a virus. Some of these affect your email system bt sending messages to everyone in your contacts list. I would run a scan if I was you to make sure that the virus is not on your computer.

No holidays planned at the moment. We certainly won't be travelling over Christmas.

We have talked about a cruise in the future, but I'm not sure when, or where to!

I would also like to go on one of the long distance train journey's here in Oz.

How about you?

Red wine drinker then eh, Allan :)
I prefer the white, just opened a bottle of white for me and red for hubby..Mmm

Glad puter is better for Xmas:)..what would we do without them ..?

Most of the snow has gone here, thankfully, just the pileups peeps shovelled to clear their driveways, and what hasn't caught any sunshine we have had...our back garden, for one cos of next door's Leylandi trees..much too high and wide, they shade our garden dreadfully.:((

Has the snow cleared with you Barbra, to enable to visit your family.? I hope so:)

Sandie.x.... ~~~~~~to Colin and Tony, hi guys:)

Hello Barbra and Sandie,

Computer is fine now but still having problems with the printer. It prints but won't scan. I have tried downloading a driver for it but it still won't open.

I suppose that a new printer/scanner will now have to be purchased. The current one is only four years old.

Barbra, I'm fine thanks. Went to the Mayor's Garden Party yesterday as a representative of an organisation that I'm a member of.

Plenty of free red wine Sandy!

I'm glad that the snow is clearing for you at last. Just the opposite her. Yesterday was pleasnt at 27c with a nice breeze in the afternoon for the Mayor's do, but 31c forecast for us today.

Still no rain in sight for us!

I just hope that Christmas is relatively cool
