Today I went shopping at Bluewater for clothes, basically I am fed up with looking like the local Bag Lady!!! I have come to the conclusion I am either the wrong age, shape, or probably a combination of both, to wear any of the things on offer in the shops I have come home with zilch, nothing, and I am really fed up Off to tackle a bottle of wine, will be back later. In the meantime can anyone suggest where I should look next?

oh Dee I have the same problem half the time - mainly cos of my boobs!! I'll join you with a glass of vino when the kids are in bed!! x x

Oh Dee......I went through a spell like that.....fed up trying things on that looked tight. One time came charging out of a changing room totally fizzing.....whacked Brian in the chest with the offensive garment and said ' Get me out of here another pluddy thing doesn't fit, I am a fat C O W'.......only when I grabbed his arm to hurry him up did I look up in to the big blue eys of the most charming young man...I had whacked a total stranger :-( Insult to injury

I was shopping on my own Lemon, so didn't have the luxury of that. Perhaps I would have had more luck if I had taken someone with me ;-(

boobs are only half the problem!!! dont have a huge waist but have big boobs and big backside!! so if I get jeans to go over me bum, then they are too loose round the waist!!! have to buy tops a size bigger to accomodate the ample bosom.... hate shoe shopping cos I have really wide feet and nowt fits me!! shall we just cut to the wine now???? lol

Oh Dee I must take you shopping love, who knows what you might go home with :-) X

EBAY!! Dee! Went on holiday earlier this year and my 22 year old daur said she was sick of seeing me dressed in black all the time! (Slims you off - smart - ageless I thought) She introduced Ebay to me and WOW - had lots of time to study whats on offer (hate shopping for clothes in shops it depresses me) End Result - had lots of compliments from fellow family holidaymakers - was cheaper too so worth taking a look! New Image here we go! ;o))) Kim x

No dee you are not the wrong shape, so don't think that. I am so fed up with designers who think that everyone is or should be a size blinking 10! I can go into a shop and try on a certain size and it fits ok, i go into another shop and pick out the same size piece of clothing and its far too small. In my day the size listed on the clothing was correct and fitted no problem. now if have to be wonky and skinny for anything to fit. don't get down sweetie, its the designers that are at fault, they just don't know.. Annie xx (try buy anything in spain and you have no hope as they are all wonky aswell) LOL

Jill , I am on my first glass, have persuaded the other half to cook so will soon be toddling off to have a bite to eat Lemon, well it has interesting possibilities, us shopping together ;-)

oh Dee..i'm the other way round...have eaten here but not opened the vino yet!! need to tidy up again tonight before I open it (expecting a visitor tomorrow)

I'll be a bag lady with you Dee. It's the clothes makers they ain't using enough cloth for my size xxx
