Seems I'm not the only one then, which is a relief Perhaps I should venture on to e bay Years ago I went to a 'designer' second hand shop. The prices were high but I came home with some really classy things, that actually fitted. (mind you I was younger and slimmer then as well) ;-(

Dee Start off by trying this guide from Trinny & Sues 'What not to wear' .......... it might help (oh by the way new series to be presented by Lisa Butcher ?? and Mica Paris mmm ). http://www*bbc*co*uk/lifestyle/tv_and_radio/what_not_to_wear/whattowear_index.shtml It will give you a few ideas what to be looking for - and then - take me up on my offer to come with you sometime :O)))

Dee think yourself lucky, at least there is something you can do about your shape if you are so inclined. try being 5' 2' and buying skirts! they either clean the floor as i go, or look like belts! Bev

Hi Bev I think I ought to get a good old fashioned corset, it might 'hold it all in' Dee ;-))

Don't worry Dee - been to both Bluewater and Lakeside and come back with nothing in the past....... My best place seems to be Marks and Spencer and there is nothing wrong with being 'ample' and who wants to be a size 10 anyway.... Love the idea of a Bluewater meet though - we could all help each other - god knows what we would come back with lol Lynda x

Problem with a corset Dee is it just holds it in, then moves it somewhere else! Maggy

Bev Report 4 May 2006 19:04

A Bluewater meet sounds good to me - it's only 10 minutes away from me!! It's sods law though isn't it, when you go out looking for clothes you can never find anything but when you have no money to buy anything you see loads of things you like. Sue x
