Yesterday Ann, you worried that we were all too cheerful! ;-0)

well, I have been fighting a deep well of depression for the last two weeks.

This morning I decided to give into it.
the advice given to a friend of mine by a
*trick cyclist*.....

So then I thought .... come on for a minute, ask for some positive thoughts... then go back and sit and wallow!!

It will probably help and I should be back by tomorrow... ?

It would be such a help if I had something to blame for it!

Stay well all of you and I will see you when I feel like coming back on.

Hi everyone

I didn't come on yesterday as I had made my mind up to def. drive to the park .Lovely sunshine when I went to shower but by the time I was dressed the fog had come in .
Well that was my excuse so in the end I didn't go any where .The usual happened by night time I felt guilty and all the emotions that goes with it .
Today the sun came out and stayed out
I drove to ASDA ( not easy for me due to traffic ) and I do admit to taking a few diversions to avoid the jams then I went to the park .
It has been so long since I have been there that they have rebuilt the indoor part .Before you just shoved the door open now they have an automatic door which leads into a big entrance followed by another automatic door which takes you in proper .Well that shook me a bit daft though it sounds the thought of being stuck between doors was enough to freak me but I forced myself to go in . Didn't stay inside for long as I knew I would have to retrace my steps to get out !!!
Sat in the park for about 30 mins then came home .
Thank you all for your encouragement . I knew if I said on here what I planned to do there would be more chance of me actually doing it .
I hope you are all feeling good today

Kathy :-) xxx

Hello everyone, I have a day off today, so trying to catch up the laundry quickly before going out twice to pick up grandchildren. The 2 with autism have therapy every afternoon so they must be picked up at noon and dropped off at 1pm then picked up again at 7pm. the other 2 need picked up at 3pm, then dance classes for 1 and Guides for the other, it's led me to think seriously about the first thing I'd do if I won a lottery - hire a chauffeur!!
So I'll be on here again much later.
Hugs
Mary

WELL DONE KATHY, sorry for shouting but it is a long way from here to there lol
You did really well to go to the Park as well as Asda! Hope you got yourself a nice treat there! Now you have done the Park and sorted out the new route in etc you can try again another time, maybe take your neighbour with you and sit and watch the world go by? Take a flask and sarnies and enjoy guessing what all the other people do, and fear.
Love and a hug for being brave,
Lizxx

Mary, my goodness you will be running yourself into the ground woman! What lucky grandchildren to have someone so caring and great that they do so many things.
Catch you later,
Hugs back

well done Kathy and do not go feeling guilty - absolutely nothing at all to feel guilty about. You have done great, you really have - Asda is such a big store and the fact that you went in and out is a great ahievement - one day at a time as they say!!

Colleen - think you better invest in a pair of roller skates with all you do - don't know where you get the energy!!

Just wanted to say well done to Kathy. You went to Asda (that needs a medal in itself!!) and then to the park so that was great. Bet you felt you had achieved something didn't you.

Stressed a bit myself this evening as I have my pre op appointment tomorrow. Good job I looked at my appointment letter. I had changed the appointment from next week because we are away and on the phone the girl said 13th February 2.30pm, I know I am hard of hearing but I repeated it and wrote it on the calendar I had in front of me, When I checked the replacement letter that I have it is 13th February 0930 (quite a lot of difference) As we go in on the bus to save tussling with the car park it means leaving here at 0830. Then we will probably have to pay as I am not sure if they will accept our pass. All very stressful and I will be glad when it is over. And will be even more glad when the op is done on 26th Feb.
Whinge over!!

Kathy whhoooooaa. That is great news. You did so well just to drive there but to go in and then go to the park as well you did fantastic. It's not a lot to do for others but I know, for you it was a big deal. I was the same couldn't go shopping alone. Do the same again and you will get use to it, then gradualy add a little to it when you are ready, it dosent matter if you go out intending to do more and can't, try next time. I promise it will get easier but it takes a long time. Just don't expect miracles take your time and don't put too much preasure on yourself. It will upset you if you try to do too much and make your self panic we don't want that. Think of Liz and I sat with you. I'll sit in the back of the car Liz next to you. No shouting when you should be breaking or slowing down lol xx You actually did a lot today. I didn't think you would go so far.

Mary super gran. Where do you find your energy! ? No wonder you can't open those envelopes you have no strength left lol . Just kidding! What a lucky family you have to get so much help from you.

I went to see my doctor this afternoon. I have to go back in four months! So keep taking the tablets. He said stay on 2 a day. He is pleased with my progress.

HI Liz. How are you? Is oh being nicer to you today? x

Hi Jules hows you? Been a long day has it?
