*$parkling $andie* Report 28 Mar 2009 23:19

In a 'Mental hosp' as it was then called ,in my school holidays, during the school holidays.
I worked as an assistant on a locked ward and whilst feeding a frail looking patient, she leapt out of bed and floored me ! ...I smile about it now, but not at the time.

Would you stay over night alone in a very large 'haunted' house?

Anne

Anne Report 29 Mar 2009 16:02

I work in one and the early morning cleaners talk to them as they clean the Wilde Theatre [a new extension] I have had the experience of hearing sobbing in the ladies loos and have been the only one in there at the time.
Footsteps walking across the stage when the theatre is locked but the mics were accidentally left on and the techncians hearing them in the green room and lots of other happenings but I don't think I would stay there on my own overnight. Three suicides have also taken place, one by a member of staff, a young potter about 15 years ago.

Have you ever had a ghostly experience?

*$parkling $andie* Report 31 Mar 2009 21:24

I'd stay in South Wales , somewhere near the coast, but close enough to Cardiff . Around the Cowbridge area perhaps,( very pretty town,) convenient for the airport too. Perhaps I'd be a neighbour of Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson.lol

Do you use your local library ?

*$parkling $andie*

*$parkling $andie* Report 31 Mar 2009 22:28

Not as much I used to .Took the children there every weekend for new books when they were in primary school. Then they introduced CD hire service, which was quite useful. They have all the mod cons there now as I suspect most libraries do, peeps have to book in advance to use the computer suite. I use it for research more than taking books on loan.

Anne
