Yes, a Fleetwood Mac Album, in a raffle in a pub when we were camping in West Wales 1975 ( had to put it under the car to keep it out of the heat )
And a £1000 on a scratch card in 1986, hubby just did it cos it was the first time we'd taken new born dau out for the day,..... we changed the car from a 2 door to a 4 door...ooohh so much easier to get her in and out of the car.

Will you be planting annuals in your garden or do you stick with perennial
borders ...?

We plant Bizzie Lizzies, Petunias and Begonias every year but also have a lot of perennials.

Yes, we try to have a low maintenance garden.
Honeysuckle, Escallonia, Jasmine , Kerria, Viburnum, Forsythia, Cotononeaster, Hypericum, Fuchisia,Esscallonia, Ceanothus, Santolina, Senico,Weigela shrubs, also loads of perennials( my favs are the 5 varieties of geraniums, the little deep pink is my most favourite )) but do pots of annuals also.

Do you have coffee mornings with your neighbours / friends..?

I do office work part time in the mornings but because its in a busy Arts Centre & Theatre environment there is plenty of socialising with the work. I do meet up occasionally with friends for a midday lunch.

No we didn't plan to and we kept to our plan.lol
Had a lazy warm sunny weekend pottering around the garden after a busy early morning shop on Saturday.

Do you feed the birds in your garden regularly ?

Yes, we have a bird feeding station and bird table plus squirrels after the peanuts.

Blackbirds and Magpies, tho we do have a resident robin.

Do you have a problem with the cats going after the birds, my neighbour opposite has 6 cats, I'm for ever shooing them out of the garden.?

a new neighbour a few doors away has 3 cats and come to think of it birds not been so frequent but I thought it was because of the weather warming up and they were finding more natural food.

We had a brother & sister from kittens,Lucy died last year at home aged 17.
We are hoping to have a couple more this year once we have been on holiday. Fortunately our boxer,Amy adores cats.

We don't have any since our 18yr old dog went over the rainbow bridge.
He was an indoor pet.

No, he works for Social Services, finance department ( I hasten to add)

Currently under going chemo for breast cancer, which was a shock because I don't come under any of the high risk categories ie I'm slim, had 3 children never smoked and eat a very healthy diet [ but I don't feel ill and still working part time , so not all bad]

Have you ever been in hospital, apart from child birth?

B. Anne,sorry to hear of your cancer, but glad that the chemo isn't having any ill effects on you. Hope you're treatment will be successful and over soon.


Yes, my Dr sent me in with what he thought was 'acute appendicitis' came out 4 days later with raging tonsillitis and still have my appendix 35 yrs later.

Have you been a blood donor.?

no,I volunteered but then found I was pregnant,tried 18 months later but was pregnant again.Gave up for a few years then once again,thought I might volunteer myself but as I have had hepatitis and am diabetic was told they dont want me lol.My husband has been a blood donor for years.

What sounds do you wake up to?

Usually the birds singing, but lately our newspaper delivery, the click of the letter box, as it has been early and I have been sleeping a bit heavier.

Do you need an alarm to wake up ?
