My sister has just found a picture of my Mams brother in army uniform - Royal Army Service Corps.........we have been told not to ask about "family history".........but i have asked on the Liverpool site for info on what this regiment entailed......Lol
Most of my male family have been in the forces - i'm proud of each and every one of them.

Everyone seems to be keeping well despite the cold though I have to admit I haven't been outside today.

Hope you are keeping well, Rog. Jacky yet again doing well with your research, hope it continues for you. I kept waking up all night with a stupid cough that I get every time a get a cold which I have, sure I caught it off OH because he was splutttering and blowing first! Grrrr! so basically chilled out today just pottering around the house catching up on the usual boring housework. Still, it always looks nice when it's all done.

Perishing cold here, its the light wind that is causing it, otherwise i dont think it would feel as cold, we too are forcast to have snow.......Brrrrr

Going out food shopping soon, done the housework yesterday, so the rest of the day will be mine then.

Hello everyone, hope you are well and not to cold, the wind here is triple than usual and so cold its unbelievable, unless its just me, i get cold very much in the head and that makes me feel poorly, never mind a .
Wife Rosemarie has gone to grandsons birthday party this afternoon, so should have a good time, i wasnt up to it so have stayed at home and lit the fire. gas heating to start being fitted tomorrow, so hope we have some form of heat.

Just had a flurry, the bottom of the country has gone on red on the met office site...........Brrr. Rog, the quicker your heating is sorted the better....can you pop a wooley hat on - helps to keep the heat in, no one is going to see you, and we dont want you feeling poorly, sending warm hugs from us to you.

Just looked out, snowing quite heavy with a good layering !!!!

Hi all, hope your not snowed in yet,
we had a small flurry for about 15 mins, but gone now, maybe a bit more tonight or tomorrow.
The heating installation will take about 7--10 days, a lot of work involved im told.
Well time to close down and do my little jobs before bed.

Snow here too and still coming down, i was out a few times today and was terrified driving, on my last visit i got there alright and just as i got out the car - i went down straight on my a**e....................Lol, i felt more embarressed than anything else............no injuries.
