evening all ,
..................snow has NEARLY all gone , still a bit slippy in places .
..............had my mammogram today get result in a few weeks .
.................got straight in for appointment in and out in seconds , a lot didn't even bother to turn up and a lot of cancelations so i was only one there .
................some people are silly they don't know how important they are .

Can i ask you all to keep my friends daughter in your prayers please......she was having pains in her chest, her GP sent her for a scan because he could hear her lungs scratching as she breathed, he felt it may be pleuracy, this was diagnosed, she was called the next day (yesterday), they also found a 2,5 lump in her breast, i'm not sure if this is a big lump but its a lump nevertheless..........she was to be seen today so i'm not sure of the outcome. This lady has 3 kids aged 5, 3 and 1. Her mother (my friend) got the call while we were having tea out last evening - she went sick, we all went home then.

don't know if you have read the thread about the 13yr old boy who is a father now , i know he looks very young , but i can't say anything bad about them , silly mistakes at that age can happen , it happened to me
.........i was 16 fell pregnant with my daughter karen my boyfriend then was
only 14 mind he did look older than him , i didnt stay with him as i realized
late in pregnancy i didnt love him as much as i thought .
hubby adopted her when we were married , she has met her real father
he still lives near us .

Rose, my Mam used to always say "there but for the grace of God" meaning anything can happen to any of us - its life............

...............been quiet a mild day here with some sun .
........had a great night last night , didn't get to bed till 2 this morning ,
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jacky my grandaughter and hubby are coming too ,
...........not too sure if they are coming same time but they would follow on .
................so we have decided we are putting our house up for sale in april ,
so hope it goes quickly , its a shame this recession is going on , but you never know it still might sell . i've got to also decide what we are taking with us , containers dont come cheap .

..............going to watch dancing on ice , i'll miss todd though loved to have a laugh at him .

My friends daughter seen the breast clinic people today, they said it looks like the lump is on her lung, from the x rays,she was sent straight away to the hospital where they agreed it is on the lung, a cat scan is to be carried out to see what it is ............ the breast clinic checked her breasts (to young for a mammogram) and said they seem fine. Please keep her in your thoughts - Thankyou.

Not been such a bad day here, dry and a little warmer !!

Hello my friends - a huge thank you is in order for keeping this thread alive and kicking.

Been quite busy the last couple of days - first aid course on Saturday - out all day, baby sat Leigha on Saturday evening because mum and dad were invited out to friend's house for valentines meal and they all stayed for dinner on Sunday. Off school this week for half term and have been looking after Leigha because Vicki went back to work on Monday so have Leigh til tomorrow and then back for second part of first aid course on Saturday :( Took Leigha to visit my sister today who was more than suitably impressed with how bright, cheerful and clever she is! I do love that little girl, I think she is going to be such a character as she grows up.

Good to see all are keeping well. Keeping your friend in my thoughts Jacky andhoping everything turns out well for her.

Off to bed now, as you can see quite late!
