Ooooh Jacky, I hope your car doesn't suffer after its misdemeanour with water.

Liverpoool cetainly is protected by thos Alps - ah I wish, mean the Pennines. You know if we get it bad here it's going to be pretty bad everywhere but our serving of snow hasn't been too substantial, well the year four class managed to get a snowman built - small though it was on the heaviest snowy day here, other than that, nothing sticking that does come down.

Hoping all are well and really hope your heating is operational very soon Rog, you willl wonder how you managed without it once it is. Hope too that you are keeping well.

morning all ,
..............woke up to a slight covering of snow ,and its freezing .
........nathan's school is closed today , there has been a main pipe burst
not far from us , so everyone is without water , don't know how long for .
i've filled a few pans and a bucket with water , so hope its not off to long .

.....................i'm just going to stay in today nathan would just moan if we went to town , so going to finish off my bedroom .

Hello All,

Took my car the garage and they had a look, the mechanic said the water was resting on top of the oil and hadnt penetrated the oil, so he took the water off and all is now ok, he only charged me £10......i'm just grateful no damage was done because it could have caused my brakes to fail.

Been a nice day here, cold but dry and sunny.

Rose, hope your water is back on soon for you !!

....water was only off an hour , so wasn't too bad, nathan was off school all day he was pleased , but really it could have been opened .
...............my gt. grandson is sleeping tonight , so busy night .
...............just pleased his dad has got a weekends work in , its been driving him crazy not working .
................................its really cold here there's been no more snow , but the layer has'nt melted one bit , very slippery outside .

Been down to my daughters to help with the finishing touches to her apartment, its a duplex, where you can see over her balcony onto her living area, she has got it really nice and trendy------i want to move in with her now..........but i think she would chase me........Lol

Snowing quite heavy here, hope it dosent stick, our books will be full in work because of this horrible weather..........brrr !!

had my video recorder out , been transfering my tapes on to dvd .
....made one up for my friend who lost her hubby in september , she asked me too , we had a good laugh at them , they were from our holiday from 1990 . onwards .
