Be careful not to get caught up in the other threads. Remember, it's Saturday - and some of them have 'specials' on Saturday. However, they are usually whooshed by the time I get to read them on Sunday morning. Take care - we don't want to have to come and get you so early into Sue's holiday!

I wonder how Sue's holiday is going. She didn't say definitely where she was going. If she's going north, I hope she doesn't get caught up in the storms. My son is on his way back from the Gold Coast and is expecting to be in Coffs Harbour tonight or tomorrow, then home on Monday - but I see that Coffs is cut off with floodwaters!

And it's been such a beautiful day here. Warm and calm - and no rain as we were promised! They must have used it all up - up north!

Where ever Sue is, I hope she is having a lovely time.

Apparently up around the mid-north coast - Coffs Harbour has been mentioned the most - cut off by the floodwaters. I hope my son can get through at least to his friend's place at Lennox Head. That would be OK but he mightn't get home as early as he hoped.

Hope the rain isn't heading this way. We badly need rain - but not torrential!

I don't know what is going on with this site, but it has taken me ages to get in.
I see Allan tried to escape last night, but was soon taken to task. We need some reins for him. Do you remember the sort toddlers used to wear, with a leather strap which went around their chest, it then had a longer strap which the parents could keep hold of so they couldn't get lost. Nowadays the mother wears a wrist strap with a long lead attached to the child. Just like those dog leads in fact, the ones where you can let the lead out, then pull it in again to bring thedog under control.

Yes one of those will do nicely, that way we won't have to go looking for him, we can just sit on this thread and chat and reel him in when he goes missing.

Hi Linda, yes, I was more than ten minutes trying to get back in and kept getting an apology because the Dating Site wasn't available. Ended up going through Friends and down to the bottom of the page where all the branches etc. are and clicked on GR. They are making 'improvements' and since this site is operating 24/7, I suppose it is to be expected when they have to make alterations.

Allan escaped again and started his own thread but we chased him. I have to leave you now because NOTHING stops me from watching The Bill followed by Taggart - then it will be my bedtime. So I'm leaving him in your capable hands - but watch him! He is on the loose - and if Tec joins him, you will have your hands full!

I'll look in again before I go to bed.

Right.......That's shaken Berona off - she's given up and gone to bed.

Looks furtively round corners because Linda is still on the loose, ready to pounce. No sign of those mad minnies Diane and Barbra, so, OK, over the wall, and away. Allan's took the llama, so I'll jump on me camel, and disappear into the night.
