Hi Carole,
Allan and I have a theory that Sue has recruited you to spy on us while she's away......you wouldn't ,would you?

Seriously, I so hope there are no fires in your area, I can understand the young ones worrying about it though.

It's cold, wet, and horrible here,

Tec

Stick's tongue out to Allan

Tec glad you are feeling a little better, only just found time to say this because of your's and Allan antic's

Are you in a high risk area Carole?
and do you have to have contingency plans, just in case.
It must be difficult trying to stop the younsters from worrying

Carole, given the devastation caused by the recent fires I'm not suprised people are worried about this season.

There are some really delightful places to live in the Bush areas close to where I live but most of them are bounded by State Forests.

I used to have a desire to live there but since seeing the fires in the Eastern States, and some lesser ones here in the West I have lost all interest in those areas other than to visit

so Tec, you think that I am out of the way do you?

Carolee

Carolee Report 7 Nov 2009 22:31

Tec, I think every one in Aus is at high risk as soon as the mercury rises.
We live just near a National State Park, so my plan would be to get out very fast.

I'm here now Diane. You can go and feed your cat. Tell him/her I'm sorry to keep them waiting.

I was looking back at previous pages to find where you and I discussed the origin of the word Scouse - but couldn't find it. Must be either further back or on another thread. No matter. You were right - it applies to Liverpudlians only.

Uzzi - I think we might have to issue you with a set of rules. NO protecting Allan or Tec! We have to rope them in and drag them back to their cages or they will give this thread a bad name!

Hi Carole,
We really do have our hands full at the moment. I hope Allan and Tec haven't been saving up their energy for this. They've already admitted that they have been in training for it!

Does anyone have Sue's mobile number?

Tecwyn
