Hi Diane,
You were lurking weren't you - waiting to pounce if Allan or I stepped out of line......well, we've been angelic all night, or all day as far as Allan's concerned.

Are you well? I hope so,

Tec

Barbra - what's the attraction in the Woods? or am I just being naive?

Berona

Berona Report 12 Nov 2009 23:56

Tec - you are being too nice. What are you up to? Are you removing the boulders so that we can fall down one of the many tunnels which Allan has been digging?

Persephone Report 13 Nov 2009 02:15

Hello from NZ time is 3 o'clock in the afternoon Friday 13th.

Yes we do have daylight saving much to the cow cockeys chagrin.

We wear jandals - but are familiar with the terms flip-flops and thongs.
And the majority are educated in the two meanings for thongs.

Nettles are here and gorse etc this is because the British brought them with them when they colonised the place.

NZ and Australia despite being populated my the Maori and the Moriori in NZ and the Aborigine in Oz were not known in other parts of the world. NZ and Oz did not get a mention in any Encylopaedia until after Colonisation.

The British were not that well accepted here, hence there were many Maori Wars. The Natives as they were called thought the Brits were a strange lot. The women when they washed their undergarments would hang them to dry inside pillow cases - the drying process was very very slow.

I was trying to get on here this morning (Brits last night) but our phone lines were down - Wesley must've been shifting the gears again (apologies to Last of the Summer Wine) so I went to the Library instead.

So I missed the bread event etc.

I think Allan just clicks his fingers Berona and that makes him invisible.
Tho I think he is more like Macavity.

Alison even in the face of adversity you make me giggle - hair ball indeed.
Chin up high - keep on fighting and we will cheer you on from the Threadstrands (grandstands)

Wasp sting a lot better is itching and still a red blotch - but OH now known as CB eh Alison has cleaned up his building mess, dusted and hoovered so wonders will never cease.

Berona

Berona Report 13 Nov 2009 07:00

Hello Alison. How are you to-day? My goodness - you can be savage!!
What do fingers taste like? I've had fish fingers and sponge fingers but never OH fingers. Is this what they mean by finger food?

Allan

Allan Report 13 Nov 2009 07:11

Well I might have known that I would find the Dynamic Duo on here at this time!

Good evening to both of you

Alison how's it going? dont bite your OH's fingers, just snap his head off :0))

Berona, there's something about your humour, but I can't quite put my finger on it!

Allan

Oh look, just as I was typing, who popped up but Tweedledum!! You would have been Tweedledee if Tec had posted first.

I'm fine thanks, Allan. How are you?

Persephone

Persephone Report 13 Nov 2009 07:20

It is a bit of a Mad Hatters Tea Party when both of them get going.

Hi to you as well Berona tho I did see you on that unethical thread earlier.

Allan used to get fish fingers Berona

Allan Report 13 Nov 2009 07:27

Hello Perse,

and then there was

Mary had a little lamb
It ran into a pylon.
10,000 volts went up its a***
And turned its wool to nylon

Alison

Alison Report 13 Nov 2009 07:29

*In best Pauline Hanson imitation* - Please explain?

Alison

Alison Report 13 Nov 2009 07:30

Mary had a little lamb
Her father shot it dead
Now she takes it to school
Between two slices of bread.

Persephone

Persephone Report 13 Nov 2009 07:33

Persephone

Georgie Porgie Pudding and Pie
Kissed the girls and made them cry.
When the boys came out to play
He kissed them too ‘cause he was gay.

Persephone

Persephone Report 13 Nov 2009 07:37

Jack and Jill went into town
To fetch some chips and sweeties.
He can't keep his heart rate down
And she's got diabetes.

*giggles at Perse's Georgie Porgie*

No, I'm confused about Allan and the toes. I must be getting chemo brain in anticipation.

Alison

Alison Report 13 Nov 2009 07:41

I have to love you and leave you. Gotta sort some tea out - or look mournfully at my husband in the hopes he'll cook, again.

*practises pained facial expressions*
