I drive a Skoda - My boss calls it a Nana's car. But it is a 2 litre and I am happy with it. We also have a Mitsubishi RVR - it has my new oven in it at the moment. Just waiting for my splashback to be installed then new hob and my under bench oven can be installed.

P.

Am off out now - we are meeting Daughter up from Wellington for Lunch later.

regards to Colin and Diane who have not seen today and Janet when she pops in. Hope you have a good day Alison love to all.

We've got a new cooker too........under the stairs, awaiting installation,

Yes, you are nicely nuts........

Allan Report 25 Nov 2009 22:06

Yes, Tec, but yours would be made in Europe!

Only the Ford Focus over here is from Europe and the Indicator stalk and the wiper stalk are reversed

The first time I drove one I went to give a turn indication and washed the bl**dy windscreen

Hi Sue,
I hope you aren't affected by the bush fires.

Berona

Berona Report 25 Nov 2009 22:07

You're sure to miss someone, Perse. Try using "everyone" - it keeps you from being embarrassed. We all know that we all miss someone out - but it's not done intentionally. See you later.

Allan - how about wearing your maid's outfit to work on Friday - your last day? That will ensure that your colleagues won't forget you!

Allan

Bye Persey, enjoy lunch

Sorry Carole, my apologies! I did not see you on the Thread

No Pat we're nowhere near the bushfires thankfully.

My Focus was made in Spain - hard pushed to find anything
"Made In Britain" these days.... sorry to say,

Good Night Pat

Sue, I'm sure that I have made a lasting impression on my colleagues!!

Whether that's good or bad I'm not sure :0))

Berona

Don't shave your legs Allan. That's the "talking point" of your outfit!

Allan

Allan Report 25 Nov 2009 22:33

Tec, I was flabbergasted (what a fantastic word) to find that the Focus had free access to the petrol filler cap but had the bonnet locked.

The guy who showed me this was a pom and he said that in Europe people don't steal petrol but do steal engines

I'm still not sure whether or not he was having me on!!

Tecwyn Report 25 Nov 2009 22:36

Allan,
I think I have a good idea for when your current employment ceases.
You and I could cash in on our new personas.
I'll come over, and we can appear in our outfits at the Sydney Opera House, doing something along the lines of "The Two Ronnies"

I'm sure Berona and Sue would come along, so that's two tickets sold
