Allan,
I like that word - flabber what?

Well they certainly steal petrol now, and it's a big problem in some areas.

My petrol cap will only open if the car is unlocked, it works in conjunction with the central locking,

Tec, the Act needs a more classy name....something along the lines of The Two Tenors

But as we would only be half as good as them, we could call ourselves The Two Fivers

goodevening/ morning all
Sorry I'm so late, but was very tired when I finnished work today so went for a lie down, intended to sleep for maybe 1hr,( 3pm guess what didn't wake up till 7-30pm } lazy or what, it has to do with my fibromyalgia, I have a bad flare up at the moment and it is causeing me to feel very tired ( fatigue ) and what with no time off as well I suppose it all contributes to me being so tired every afternoon. Well enough of me being lazy and sneeking to bed inthe afternoon.

Alison, hope your stay in hospital and your blood tranfusion has helped and you are feeling the benifit of it, eat what you want and take it easy hun, stay beautiful and positive, sending hug's and best wishes.

WELCOME Back Linda good to see you, hope you enjoyed your trip to London and yes it is great new's about my week off, can't wait'

Berona, how's you hun well I hope.

Well shame on me, I have just spent over half on hour reading all the post and have already forgotten what most of you posted, Tec I do remember you have been wearing your nurses uniform and Allan you mislaid your maid's uniform, I would so love to see you both in them but it would probably be to much at once lol.

By the time this is posted a few of you will have left the board, so if I have missed you I'm sorry.

Hi Sue, Persephone, Carolee, Colin, Janet, and any-one else who I may have missed

Oh I seem to have missed sue and Pat.

Going away is all very well, but I have come back to a pile of emails and letters all to be dealt with.

I will but a ticket for the show Tec and Allan, if only to keep Sue company

Allan

You arrived just as I was posting Diane.

I am shattered as well Diane, we have been doing non stop DIY for my daughter while we were away,so there was no time on this trip to go and see the queen

Allan

Allan Report 25 Nov 2009 22:57

Linda, it would be good old-fashioned slapstick comedy, complete with Custard pies, falling off our high heels: everything very frenetic...even our stockings would run!

My son lives in Teddington, so we had a walk down by the lock, which is very impressive. It is the lowest non tidal lock on the Thames you know, or so it said on the information board.

The best thing is that it is where Monty Python filmed the slapping on the face with a fish dance.

We were trying to find out exactly where it was,so thanks to modern technology, my son used his phone to find a google clip of it and we found the exact spot. Of course if we had opened our eyes we would have spotted the large blue sign which told us.

These days, I fall of my high heels as well Allan, but I think that is just down to old age

Tecwyn Report 25 Nov 2009 23:01

Hi Diane, Wondered where you were - I should think the sleep did you good, obviously needed it, hope you sleep tonight.

Linda, It's very big inside the Opera House, so you and Sue will be very lonely if it's only you two there.
But I'm confident it will be a sellout - the Aussies love to see two Poms making a fool of themselves,

I speak from experience,

Tec

Allan Report 25 Nov 2009 23:02

With me Linda it is down to a mixture of old age and young wine

Diane Report 25 Nov 2009 23:04

Linda, I was under the impression you went away for a rest, ( what are you like )

Allan, I know other's have a kip in the afternoon at a certain age, but 4and a half hour's at my age ( disgusting ) I feel it's a waste of a whole afternoon, especially when I have all the bib's to do, cleaning and ironing, I just came in today had a bite to eat thought to myself now were should I start and then went in my bedroom and thought I'll have a little lie down and that was the last thing I remembered till 7-30pm, it was as though some-one just turned me off lol

Or so my daughter thinks, until mum turns up to do it!

I'm getting the tickets printed. Was that a fiver each?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 25 Nov 2009 23:09

I think that is a bit over priced Berona, five cents would be more like it

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 25 Nov 2009 23:11

Diane's talk of beds has made me feel really tired,so I am off to mine.
Going away is very nice, but you can't beat your own bed
