My niece has a pet rat CC. I don't see the attraction myself. My children both had gerbils when they were younger. We kept them in fish tanks and in deep peat,so they could burrow, they only needed cleaning out every few months. They were no trouble at all, until one of them died in the tunnel and we didn't notice for a few days. |

I think that we are never too old to learn more about anything. Admittedly, when you get to my age, the attention span shortens, but I still absorb every new thing I learn. I can no longer compete with the contestants on TV who need to answer quickly - I have the answer in my head, but don't seem to get it out until after they have answered and been declared correct! That makes it look like I am only copying what they said, so if anyone is near me, I just keep quiet! |
